tellez. >> i'm jon kelley. we begin with the news in the south bay. an all out manhunt in san jose. at this hour, one man is in custody and a $20,000 reward offered for information leading to the arrest of a second suspect. this following four robberies and homicide and officer-involved shooting. bob redell is live at city waha with the latest information after being briefed. quite a situation. >> reporter: along with the mayor's office. good morning, jon. the mayor's office has just upped the reward looking for the second man wanted in connection with the attempted murder of two police officers and the murder of an innocent civilian. police have also just released a sketch of the second suspect who is right now considered to be san jose's public enemy number one. to put an exclamation point on this. the assistant police chief along with mayor chuck reed and the city council participated in the joint news conference that ended an hour ago. the mayor will contribute $10,000 from his budget to raise the reward to $20,000 for information leading to the arrest of suspect number two. po

roadwork until 11:00 this morning. westbound drive is looking good. >>> san jose police hope a reward will help entice the community to help them catch a second robber in a violent crime spree that killed an innocent bystander and injured an officer. kira klapper is at the san jose police department. >> reporter: good morning. the police officers association is offering a $10,000 reward, hoping someone can lead them to the accomplice of jonathan wilbanks together they went on a violent crime spree he's already under arrest, police are looking for his partner crime. they don't have a name or description both were said to be wearing ski masks. it began before 7:30 friday night when they robbed a little caesar's on story road, then a gas station, an hour after that a jack-in-the-box. police say the pair didn't hurt anyone until they reached the 7-eleven, where they shot and killed 22-year-old campbell resident in an attempted carjacking. police spotted the pair, the pair initiated a shootout with officers. one officer was grazed at the hip by a bullet before thened up catching wilbanks.

at the scene of the killing. >> reporter: diane, the san jose police association announced a $10,000 reward. police released this photo of the suspect they do have in custody. police say the 26-year-old, along with another man wo ho is still on the loose were involved in four other robberies. >> anybody who is willing to take part in four armed robberies and shooting at a police officer, basically trying to kill one of our cops, is as dangerous as it gets. >> reporter: according to police, they first robbed a little caesar. then a gas station and then a jack-in-the-box. after the robbery, police say they went to a 7-eleven store on the 400 block of tv boulevard during an attempted carjacking. the 22-year-old victim died in the parking lot where people have left flowers and notes in his memory. his friends, who did not want their faszs shown on camera says he was a good person and a great friend who was in the wrong place at the wrong time and they hope flpolice catch the second suspected and soon. police hope they're able to arrest the first suspect. >> there was basically a good old fashio
